Matthew & Nanette DeLuca
Matt
After he completed his active duty military obligation, Matt advanced through a
variety of human resource assignments and corporate training functions. In 1978 he accepted a position with Bank Hapoalim
--- a major Israeli bank --- to start a HR function for its US operations. In 1983 Matt joined the Bank of Tokyo and assumed
leadership for the Human Resource and Payroll functions. The entrepreneurial bug bit him in 1987 and he became a principal
in a firm that was later to be called the Management Resource Group.
At nearby New York University, Matt serves as an adjunct professor in the Leadership and Human Capital Management
Division of NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies; he is a recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award.
Matt also teaches at the Polytechnic Institute of NYU and at the Zicklin School of Business of Baruch College, a major
institution that is part of The City University of New York (CUNY).
In addition to continuing his consulting practice,
he served for five years as Director of Human Resources for Titan Sports, Inc. --- a privately held firm made famous as the
home of the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). Recently he has provided consultation services to the dotcom, telecommunication,
health care and television industries.
Matt is a frequent speaker for a variety of professional associations
that have included the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Payroll Association. He has an MPA degree
from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA from Fairfield University; he is certified Sr. Professional in HR (SPHR).
Nan
Nan is a principal in Management Resource Group, co-author and editor for all of their
publications. She also worked in training as well as lending capacities for Chemical Bank; her last assignment was as an Assistant
Vice President in the Factoring and Finance Division. Nan has a BA from Marymount College in New York City.
Additionally, she is active as a webmaster and calligrapher.
